It was due to Ah Lau's perseverance that we managed to play badminton today! After lunch at Bedok interchange, we went searching for shuttlecocks. Eventually we reached Sportslink, and after some discussion we bought the cheapest duck-feathered shuttlecocks that still cost us 20 bucks! We then made our way to Bedok Sports Hall (which to et was only "a 5 min walk away" but apparently wasn't) but like thunder in a blue sky (晴天霹雳), all the courts were booked! We tried calling other CCs and sports complexes to check for vacancies. We managed to get Kembangan finally and headed for it. Again et told us the walk from the bus stop we alighted at to the CC would take 5 minutes, but it didn't! Haha.. We finally started our badminton game...

We played till around 7pm before some older folks came in to tell us we had to go =(

That concluded our Health and Fitness activity for the day!

P.S. Van, we heard stories about you and your male taiwanese tour mate.. You have some explaining to do! Heh heh heh..

This blog is dying! It desperately needs updates. I would blog about our last dinner with REC YC FOO, but he hasn't uploaded the photos that we took yet! Did we take any pictures on the mahjong session that following Monday? They could be uploaded too!

Nothing much to blog about, except to tell you guys about the changes I made in the "me" column. Go have a look! I also have some ideas to update the "links" page, will try them out when I have the time k? =)

When will our next meeting be? Haha, would you guys be free from 24 to 31 AUG? Because I am forced to take block leave during that week! Maybe we could dinner during a weekday? Might be calling you guys soon =) Nights!
